Tasting Notes:
The 2020 Humis Vineyard Carménère has returned with another beautiful bright, purple/red colour with big, lifted varietal aromas complete with alluring violets and vanillian oak.
On the palate it has great dark fruits and plum and violet flavours, with an elegant, rich, smooth finish that is zingy and tight from the fine grained tannins. It lingers for ages on the palate.
Cellaring:
This wine is drinking well now, however, it will over the next two to five years, mellow and mature more to become sensational. It will then live for many more years if kept under good cellaring conditions.
