Tasting Notes:

This is a chunky full bodied Shiraz, it is brilliant deep inky red in colour with powerful aromas of plums dark fruit and spices.   It also has a tight, restrained palate featuring smooth, rich, blackberry flavours with a nice hint of black pepper and flint.
This great Shiraz finishes with mature,  tannin finish that lingers and augurs well for a long future.
 
Impenetrable inky black in colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Pronounced black cherry, liquorice and blackberry aromas are married to vanillin cedar, scorched earth and blackpepper. Rich and concentrated the full bodied palate is saturated with lavish blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits which are framed by a robust tannin structure. Vanillin cedar, subtle scorched earth and blackpepper characters linger underneath. Opulent yet sturdy in its feel, it possesses outstanding power and finishes long, chewy and lush.

Cellaring:
Whilst very enjoyable now, this wine will continue to evolve and develop over the next 6-8 years to become much more velvety and complex. It is truly “a keeper”.

Food Suggestions:
This wine now makes an ideal accompaniment to rich, opulent food dishes. Then, as it mellows with age it will evolve into being a great accompaniment to dishes of medium-richness.
